This ‘71 Camaro SS has been lying dormant for years, and the guys quickly discover it’s got a laundry list of issues. Faulty fuel injection that needs to be replaced with a more advanced system. Blown head gasket. Disc brake problems. Rear end that’s making angry noises. And that’s not all. It’s a lot to tackle, but by the time they’re finished, this 396 beast will be roaring down the road once again!

This Saab has been in the shop before; today it’s back and the guys help get it ready for a serious power boost. The owner was able to pick up a 5.3 iron block for cheap so that’s what we’re going to get ready to be put in the vehicle. The engine has been bored out to a 5.7 and has a 4” stroker kit, so he can put more forced induction into it when he’s ready to turn it into a Sleeper SAAB.
