Willie gets back to work and discusses what Arrington Performance has done on his 392 Cubic Inch 5.7 L Hemi, from raising the cam shaft and shortening the push rods, to C&C head porting, and changing out the lifters and push rods. He wraps up with installation of new heads.
Kevin shows a trick with the oil pump and how he updated the gerotor set so he can use his stock pick up and stock windage tray from his Gen 1 Mustang. He then mocks up the bottom end and fits the new oil pan on the engine before installing a new Cam drive.
We’ve got a bright yellow C7 in the shop today and Kevin and Willie are installing new specialized long tube headers, exhaust and other extras to make this already robust platform even more powerful.
The mock up continues with the installation of an oil pan and spark plugs on Willie’s 392 Cubic Inch Hemi. He then gets hyped up as he introduces the Magnuson Super Charger kit that is going to take this Hemi to a whole ‘nother level! Next step, engine dyno!

It’s Dyno time for Willie’s ARP Hemi Engine Build and the guys fly to Detroit to visit Arrington Performance to meet up with the owner Mike Copeland. They’ll take a tour of Arrington’s facilities and see what was done for the Hemi while there. Then it’s go time as we see what kind of torque and horsepower the Hemi will make!
The guys are back in Detroit once again and this time it’s to finalize Kevin’s ARP Coyote Engine Build. They’ll head over to Holbrook Racing Engines to meet up with owner Chris Holbrook and tour his facility. Then it’s time to light the fire on the Coyote and see what kind of numbers this engine makes!
